FridayFriday's a stray cat we just adopted after trying to find her previous owners. Karen named her "Friday" because that's when she showed up the first time. We also call her "Babs" because she's got Barbra Streisand's nose. |

HalloweenKaren and Dave go to a Halloween party sponsored by VCOM and the vet-med school at Virginia Tech. Karen goes dressed as Sarah Palin (or perhaps, Tina Fey playing Sarah Palin), and Dave goes as Todd. Karen is by far the best Sarah (of three or four) at the party because of all of them, she's the only one doing it ironically. |

Honeymoon Pictures - Costa Maya and ChacchobenThese are pictures from Costa Maya and the nearby Chacchoben ruins. Costa Maya is a small, relatively new port that serves cruise ship traffic and specializes in ecological and archaeological tourism. The port is built in a sparsely-populated area of Quintana Roo, between Cozumel and the Belize border. |
